Bill Charnow passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 after his recent battle with a number of illnesses. There were serious complications towards the end of Bill’s life that included an infection that just could not be stopped… which ultimately took his life.
As Hausmann’s National Sales Manager Bill brought his own flamboyant style to all situations and you only got his real unfiltered passionate feelings on all subjects. He was a staunch advocate for Hausmann during his 21 plus years here and made our company a stronger more successful organization.
Bill formed lifelong friendships with many customers. He always stood out as the center of attention at trade shows and meetings, whether it was dressed up as the Cowardly Lion, Tony Soprano or a bariatric Sumo Wrestler, Bill was the “Face of Hausmann”.
Bill is survived by his son Jeff, daughter Lauren and four grandchildren: Marni, Lawrence, Coley and Danielle. He will be dearly missed.
